Description
Bush Tomato is a native Australian food with a pungent caramel tomato flavour particularly suited to savoury applications. The earthy flavour is intense and therefore can be a bitter after taste which can be balanced with some sweetness.
Also known as the Desert Raisin as it resembles a raisin when dried on the bush.
Bush Tomato is a good source of vitamin C and dietary fibre.
Works well with any sort of protein and vegetables such as onion, mushroom, capsicum, sweet potato, pumpkin.
